Our post on comfortable heels last week generated a number of votes for Stuart Weitzman and Ferragamo, so when we saw these lovely heels on sale (in numerous spots) we had to pass on the news. It's a 3.5″ heel, but it looks to have a subtle platform, which should be easier for standing. Zappos has them in black patent and a fun electric blue patent (we'd wear with gray or navy bottoms, but otherwise keep for weekend fun) for $196, and Endless has them in a slew of colors (including the “cashew” suede, pictured) for anywhere from $163-$202. (The shoes were originally $298.) The cashew suede — a great indoor shoe — is on sale for $168, still available in sizes 6-10. Stuart Weitzman Women's Swoon Platform Pump

Gorgeous!! I want them.
Very pretty. But I am always so afraid of getting light colored suedes dirty. Is there any pre -treating that I can do?
Yes. Go to a cobbler or most shoe stores. They have pre-treaters that will make the shoes more stain resistant. Also get a special brush (ask cobbler), if you’re really worried, and clean after each wear.
“swoon” is right!
Really lovely, but a 3.5 inch heel is too tall for my tender tootsies. I know, I’m a wuss, but I do so enjoy looking at these.
Louboutins for the rest of us. I like that cognac patent they show on the site. A lot. Were I still working right now, and if the heel height weren’t uncomfortable, I’d think seriously. If only to have one thing which at least REFERRED to current trends:).
I think these are different shoes. The zappos ones have no visible platforms
I think these are stunning for a classic shoe.
addendum: after checking the brand website, “platswoon” (with platform) and “swoon” are two different shoe models.
I have tried these on at a Stuart Weitzman Store and I was impressed with how comfortable they were. I’m usually a flats or low heel kind of person but these made me want to take a risk. I didn’t buy them at the time since I was hoping that they would go on sale. I just snatched up a pair in Cognac. I’m also tempted by the zinc patent but I think they may be a bit much for the office. Great suggestion C!
love love love love love. thanks for the tip C!!
So pretty!
Drool!!
Oh, if only I wasn’t a poor law student with too many pairs of shoes already….
These are fantastic. Also check out Johnston & Murphy (yes, really) – their Julia pump is on sale right now for $99 (in a bunch of colors, including camel) and is fabulously comfortable.
Sadie, there is an online coupon code to save an extra 30% off J&M sale ladies footwear: womens30.
Thanks for the comments on the comfort of J&M shoes; I think I will have to try them out!
I bought them in cashew suede on amazon for slightly less…

Thanks for the Amazon tip! I just ordered a couple of pairs in different sizes and colors to try!
Okay, digressing slightly, but it’s shoe related. I picked up a pair of Cole Haan low pumps the other day, and ladies, all your hype is true! The Nike air is AWESOME! I am a total cheapskate when it comes to shoes. I like good quality shoes, but I don’t EVER want to pay full price. When I found the Cole Haan shoes at Marshalls for $30 on clearance, I was willing to give them a whirl. Damn-it, they are comfortable and so much so, I’d be willing to spend a whole lot more on them than $30.
I’m not quite certain whether to be grateful or mad. LOL.
But, as I’m in the process of loosing weight, I’ve established that when I reach my goal weight, I’m rewarding myself with a pair of either Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin, YSL, or some other insanely sexy yet classic pair of tall boots!! I’ve refused to by fat calf boots yet, and I’m still holding out. Haha. And, yes, I’m willing to pay full price for them!
I have had good luck with beige suede shoes (and jackets), no pre-treating. But I have worn them in moderately clean environkments.
They have the opportunity to get in their two cents worth, by commenting back on your posts.
