The below content is about the 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Just for kicks I thought I’d take a final swing through the 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (it ends tomorrow!) and take a look at the shoe offerings (TONS of sizes and colors left). There are actually a ton of interesting trends this year. Some of my top choices are below… What have you guys been hunting for in terms of shoes this year?

The big, big trend that I’m noticing this year is heavy lug soles and almost a combat boot vibe. Let’s hope it’s not a prediction for 2021! That said, the old Doc Martens lover in me kind of likes these with skinnies or leggings if you’ve got a casual day ahead of you.

Comfortable Flats in the 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Call me crazy, but I feel like flats are where it’ll be at for a while now. These are some really nice, comfortable flats if you’re on the hunt:
Sneakers in the 2020 NAS Sale
What are your thoughts on sneakers for fall, ladies? I’ve seen some commenter discussion of getting fancier “fashion” sneakers like Golden Goose or P448 (in the sale!), while I think others are more feeling like fun slip-ons or mules for taking the dog for a walk. Some nice options from the (very!) wide range:

Heeled Boots in the 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
If you want a sleeker look with tights or skirts, of course, there are always nice heeled options. These are some of my favorites:

Pumps for Work in the 2020 NAS
I think Nordstrom realizes as much as the rest of us that perhaps we won’t be wearing heels too much in the coming months. Still, there are some nice options if you’re building a work wardrobe or looking for some unusual choices such as the half d’Orsay or the heeled loafer (definitely a rarity!).
