Deal Alert: ShopBop’s Big Tiered Sale!
2018 Update: Looking for our picks from the Shopbop Sale of 2018? Check them out right here.
ShopBop's big tiered sale is here (formerly known as their “Big Event sale”). As we've noted in the past, this is a great sale to stock up on some of those workwear classics that NEVER go on sale — and the more you spend, the more you save. Some details: use code GOBIG17 for 15% off orders of $200+, 20% off orders of $500+, and 25% off orderes of $800+ — it's valid on full-price and sale items. This is a great chance to get some pieces from classic accessories brands, including Ferragamo, LK Bennett, Rebecca Minkoff, Tory Burch, Claire V, and Hunter. (I particularly love their jewelry collection — it's always hip and interesting.) Note that because ShopBop is owned by Amazon, Prime shipping is available (they have a general 3-day free shipping policy though); returns are free. The sale ends March 7.
Some of my favorite pieces for work and the weekend are below; a few general brands to look for include Theory, Diane von Furstenberg, Black Halo, Equipment, and Smythe (so many colors of their super popular blazer, pictured at top!). For the weekend, great selection of denim — some of the most-loved denim we rounded up recently is part of the sale, including jeans from Paige, Frame, AG (high-rise and cigarette), these boyfriend jeans from Citizens of Humanity.
I did a whole roundup of some of my top picks, but it looks like the blogging tool I used is having technical issues at the moment… yay! Hopefully it'll come up sooner rather than later — in the meantime, the links above should get you started. Lots of great things to buy in the sale, from basic to fun — and VERY easy to get to the 25% off stage and snag the discount on things that never go on sale.
I’m 28 years old and have always considered myself straight and only ever dated men. All of a sudden I have deep feelings for a lesbian friend in my life. I think they’re mutual and I’m terrified of what comes next. I want to explore this but don’t want to have to explain this to my family and friends. To me, it seems natural that many of us could fall in love with either a man or a woman depending on the person and stage of our lives. I’m confused.
So sad when I saw this as my children and I have loved Mem Fox’s books: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/feb/28/in-that-moment-i-loathed-america-i-loathed-the-entire-country?CMP=share_btn_fb
“They made me feel like such a crushed, mashed, hopeless old lady and I am a feisty, strong, articulated English speaker. I kept thinking that if this were happening to me, a person who is white, articulate, educated and fluent in English, what on earth is happening to people who don’t have my power?”
Thank you for posting that! Sharing within my network.
