Giveaway: Win a Free Subscription to RocksBox (the Netflix of Jewelry!)

RocksBox giveaway.indexedI was excited when RocksBox founder (and Corporette reader)
Maia Bittner reached out about offering a free yearly subscription to one lucky reader. Her new service allows you (with the help of a RocksBox stylist) to get 3 pieces of designer jewelry at a time — wear them for as long as you like, then send them back for 3 new pieces. Featured designers include CC Skye, Gorjana, Isharya, Ted Rossi, Samantha Wills, Lucas Jack, Margaret Elizabeth, Salty Fox Jewelry, and David Aubrey. As an added bonus, readers can use coupon code corporette to get 50% off your first 3 months of membership.

The Rules: Comment on this post (including your email address in the “email address field”), telling us where YOU'D wear new jewelry. One winner will be announced on Tuesday, October 15, chosen by Kat and Random.org; the winner will get a free one-year subscription to RocksBox. You must include your email in the email address field so you can be contacted by Kat in the event you win the giveaway. Your information will be held in confidence by Corporette pursuant to The Corporette Privacy Policy, and you will only be contacted by Kat in the event you win the giveaway. Please note that this contest is only open to residents of the United States. The winners will have one week to respond to Kat to claim their prize or a new winner or winners will be chosen.

  1. I’d love to wear it to spruce up my work wardrobe, and some pieces for the billion weddings I have this year!

  2. When my baby was born, I stopped buying fun jewelry because I was worried that he would pull on pieces and break them. Now that he is 2, I feel like I can ease myself back in to the world of bling. Rotating jewelry for my casual and style conscious law office plus fun pieces to wear for nights out on the town? I’m sold.

  3. I’d wear it to professional meetings (a lot coming up this part of the year) and causal social events with friends!

  4. I’d love to not wear the same jewelry to work every day and then wear the same jewelry everywhere else that I go.

  5. Trying online dating for the first time this year–need something sparkly to wear on dates :)

  6. I’d love to update my jewelry collection with some great new pieces to wear to work or out on the weekends!

  7. I’ve been wearing the exact same jewelry to work for about a year now. Can’t tell you how nice it would be to change it up.

  8. Gah, another one that’s US only? Seriously?

Sorry, Kat, I know that you probably don’t set the terms – it’s probably your affiliate that does so – but I am so sick of US-only giveaways, especially in this context when so many regular commenters don’t live in the US.

    1. In this case, it looks like they only ship within the US – likely why the giveway is US-only. BUT this is such a cool idea and I would be all over this. We need one in Canada!

  9. This is such a fun idea! I’d wear it to work, especially on Wednesdays when I have lunch with my fellow Rotarians!

  10. To my upcoming conference. Fun jewelry is a great way to start a conversation and gives me a polished look.

  11. An upcoming cruise. Right now, we have major formal events at least twice in five days!

  12. My boyfriend always notices when I wear jewelry he hasn’t seen before, so I’d love to switch the pieces regularly and see how many dates it takes before he figures out something is up. ;)

  13. I am seriously considering signing up for this! My jewelry is admittedly pretty boring, so I would love to try out new statement pieces to spice up my wardrobe–both for work and for the weekends.

  14. I have two formal events in the next two months, and new (to me) and free jewelry would be a great way to spruce up my attire during a furlough-induced spending freeze.

  15. To work! I often use nicer jewelry and shoes to raise my otherwise relatively inexpensive and basic suit and dress wardrobe to another level. Having access to new designer pieces would be great!

  16. I would definitely wear some pieces to my birthday celebration coming up! And well to be honest, I would wear them everywhere else!

    1. What a cool idea! Not an original response, but I would wear some of those awesome pieces to give my work outfits a little more sparkle and interest.

  17. What a great idea, I would love to mix up what I wear to work and out with friends.

  18. I think the question is: Where wouldn’t I wear it? Work, out on the town, weddings, etc.

  19. what a neat idea for a service! i started a new job just two months ago which involves a lot of conference facilitation — so i’d definitely love to incorporate some impressive yet tasteful jewelry into my wardrobe to help me look very put-together in these settings!

  20. To work! I’m starting my first Big Law job in a few weeks and could definitely stand to spruce up my boring work wardrobe.

  21. I’ve been working on adding accessories to my outfits, but slowly so I keep wearing the same 3 necklaces and 2 bracelets. This would help me try new things and see what works for me. The comments yesterday made me think I should put more effort into my weekend/causal wear – so that’s what I’d focus on.

  22. On my honeymoon in Tokyo and Hong Kong! To my friend’s wedding in Hawaii! To my grandmother’s 90th birthday abroad! Everywhere!

  23. I would wear it every day to work, play, grocery shopping, ect. I’m always looking for new ways to wear my closet and that includes dressing it up w/ fun jewelry! I would also love to get out of my comfort zone of studs and simple chain.

  24. I’d wear mine for date nights – my husband has seen all of my jewelry, repeatedly, and I’d love to be able to surprise him with some new accessories to spruce up my usual “date night” look!

  25. Forgot my email address before! (Genius, KKH. Simply genius.)

To re-post: I’d LOVE to have new jewelry for date nights with the husband!

    :-)

  26. I’d wear the jewelry to work of course, I am a Judge so I can wear as much bling as I want (without looking too mugable of course).
