Lunar Beauty's lip gloss in Starlight is one of the prettiest colors I've seen in a while.
They describe it as a “medium tone pink with multi-color reflect glitter,” which makes it sound like it's a bit more razzle dazzle than it is — I think it's neutral enough you could wear it as an everyday lip gloss without worrying there's a neon sign over you reading GLITTER LIPSTICK.

Heading to Lake Geneva, WI for a couple of days this fall. Does anyone have any recommendations for good hiking spots? Hoping to spend as much time outside as possible so any other ideas would be appreciated as well.

Any recent experience with the Sagamore Resort on Lake George? I’d heard good things from friends who went years ago but the online reviews are rough. Or suggestions for other kid-friendly hotels in that general area with pretty nature views and a swimming pool? We would only be staying 1-2 nights (driving between Maine and Niagara Falls and stopping here to break up the drive — the ideal stopping point distance-wise is around Albany but I’d prefer nature over city).
Have you thought about Lake Placid instead? Lake George is, of course, also surrounded by nature and hiking trails but the town is a little kitschy/overdone (per my taste=lots of mini golf and water parks etc). Lake Placid feels more rustic but yet still lots to do. But again, both are basically Adirondack Park or adjacent so there is tons of hiking to be had! Also suggest looking at Saratoga Springs, which is nice too.
I am the number 2 at a small non-profit and…realizing that my boss just really, really likes the status quo. Well, he doesn’t like it, will complain about it, but then when time comes to pull the trigger he’ll always find a reason not to.
I have two kids, 4 and 8, and would like to keep this job. So do I just…not propose any new changes? How do I get used to just being in a role of positional leadership?
