The below content concerns the 2016 Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale.

Wow — Nordstrom's Half-Yearly Sale was slated to begin Dec. 26, and I visited today expecting to see a few early markdowns — instead, it's full-on sale mode. I'll try to round stuff up later today, but I thought I'd give everyone an early head's up! Happy holidays to all!

A few other sales of note (UPDATED):

• Boden has a good sale going, up to 50% off.
• The Saks Designer sale is 70% off (online only); sister site Off5TH is up to 90% when you use code OHWOW to take an extra 40% off clearance. (If you happen to need flatware sets, CRAZY sales.)
• Word on the street is The Limited is closing — all sales are final. If you have gift cards, use them now — if you're a fan of any of their pants, sheath dresses, or suits, it may be time to stock up.
