Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices. We begin the week in splurge mode, with our most expensive suggestions, and wind our way to Friday, where a less expensive item of clothing might be just what you need to make it to the weekend. If you've recently seen a great work piece you'd like to recommend to the readers, please e-mail editor@corporette.com with “TPS” in the subject line. iconiconToday we're loving this slightly feminine take on the briefcase from Marc Jacobs. Quilted Italian leather, a casually looped knot, and a classic color. It's available at Saks.com for $1295. Marc Jacobs – Classic Quilted Bruna Bag icon

  1. It’s so beautiful, but I don’t think I could ever spend that much money on a bag. Maybe if it goes on a severe sale at Net-a-Porter.

  2. Is the hardware really bright or more muted? I considered getting a Marc Jacobs bag a few years ago, but was turned off by the very bright gold-colored hardware. I’m more of a silver girl.

  3. beautiful bag! unfortunately the straps are too short to tuck it under your shoulder

  4. I’m in loooove……but at this price tag I don’t think me and this bag will walk down the aisle anytime soon.
