For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional.
Graphics aside (it's like they're trying to sell a black suit in a darkened room! what the heck?), we like what we CAN see of this great suit from Donna Karan. Love the jacket's off-shoulder collar and high belt, and the contour seams of the pencil skirt strike us as flattering (even if they might require an underlayer of Spanx). The skirt looks like it may be a bit short, but so am I so that should not be a problem. Love it — gorgeous!

I love this suit as well. Really lovely and classy, but I wonder if it’d be hard to pull off as a “younger” woman. The model is working it, but this sort of looks 40+ to me.

It is almost Cruella DeVille, in the best way possible. I’d want to smoke a cigarette from the longest cigarette holder (do those things have a name?) possible while talking about puppies and saying ‘dahling’.

This is very retro, very Mad Men. I think you must wear it with a black collarless blouse that pretty much matches the suit. It is too “too too” for the courtroom and defintely not right for the office. Suppose you were costuming a character in a Broadway play in this suit. Who would that character be? Hard to say. I have never seen a real person dressed in this manner. In a lighter color it might be “rich man’s girlfriend”.

My lord that is stunning! Not the kind of suit for everywoman (by a long shot) but personally, I’d rock the heck out of that thing if I could afford it. It’s age appropriate for those of us above 35, but still shapely and fashionable.
The severe hair and red lipstick do give a whiff of Cruella, but that’s all in the styling. Softer hair, a slightly lower neckline and a flattering necklace would lower the dragon lady quotient without destroying the sensibilities of the suit.
