This bag caught my eye over at Tory Burch — it's so unusual. Apparently it “echoes jackets from the Fall '25 runway collection.” I would think of the pockets on the outside as being a bit more decorative than functional, of course, but I do think it's a cool bag.
It gets interesting with the price — it was $880, but is now marked $619. But! It also says “$527 for Private Sale.” This piqued my curiosity; I wondered if it was an archive/resale portion like you can find on some sites. But according to the offer details from the homepage, it's an online only sale that ends 8/19. Why are there two sale prices on a single product page? Who can say.
In any event, the bag is $527 for now, with free shipping in continental US. It also comes in brown. You can see everything in the sale here.

Has anyone tried Bared Footwear? They’re stalking me online and may have gotten me with Pipilo
Yes, love them.
I don’t get this bag. The card slots look upside down? Obviously the pockets are decorative as Kat noted, but wouldn’t it look more correct if they were right-side up?
Curious where people are buying costume jewelry these days? I have a decent collection of fine jewelry but enjoy some fun pieces mixed in. I just got an order from BaubleBar and it was awful – plasticky trash. I wasn’t expecting amazing quality but I literally have nicer necklaces from Loft! Conversely, I snagged a necklace from Veronica Beard on markdown and it was lovely but $175 for enamel and brass on sale is nuts. Please do not recommend Dorsey, I am aghast at their prices. I bought the ‘Clarette’ necklace when it was under $300 and now it’s $645 for coated brass!
Etsy. Always etsy.
Any particular sellers? I get overwhelmed by the sheer amount on offer.
The real real – they have nice costume brands in addition to gemstones.
I had nicer necklaces from CVS than some of what I received from BaubleBar.
I don’t expect influencers to be 100% honest but I am ready to stop following The Stripe and Grace Atwood at this point. Everything she recommends is either absurdly expensive, or clearly a cheap referral item. She raaaaved about her BaubleBar pieces and they are such trash IRL.
Impulsively and in random places. I’ve always been a fan of costume jewelry having a story about where you found it and that it made you smile when you saw it. Most complimented necklace years ago was found at the checkout of a random nail salon I went to with my sister. Other good finds have been at antique shops, art festivals, museums and a random store I found wandering around on holiday.
Thanks to all the commenters who responded about my shoulder. I called my doctor for a sports PT referral. Fingers crossed.
If you can find a rehab place focused on younger people/athletes, I’ve had the best luck with those PTs. If you’re in NY/NJ/CT, the hospital for special surgery has good rehab options under their brand.
