Tuesday’s TPS Report: One of 2 Women’s ON1072 Pump

Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices. We begin the week in splurge mode, with our most expensive suggestions, and wind our way to Friday, where a less expensive item of clothing might be just what you need to make it to the weekend.
For today's TPS, we like the slightly funky, slightly vintage, slightly menswear-inspired look of One of 2's taupe pump. We like the heel height (under 3″) and we like the rubber sole, which in our experience makes a pump so much more comfortable. (It's available in black and brown as well.) We also like the price: $154 at Endless.com. One of 2 Women's ON1072 Pump

I like the top half of this shoe (although only in black – the other colors are just too rugged-looking for work). But, I think the sole is a little too thin to be the “platform” look and yet too thick to be “normal.” Also, the seam on the toe makes it look like a hoof to me (similar to those awful boots that SJP wore about a month ago).
Love it, apart from the toe-seam (Cat about the hoof = funny and correct). I like straps on pump-type shoes, allows me to buy a little looser fit without cramping my toes to keep them on my (difficult) feet.
Those are hideous. They make nun shoes look like haute couture.
I think this shoe is not only too casual looking, but kinda ugly too.
Could you do a feature on shoes — what brands/designers are of a higher quality than something like Nine West, but also don’t cost $300 per pair?
