Cute, but I’d save it for a Saturday at the office or a casual Friday. It’s more fun than formal, I think.
Very cute jacket, but I think the stripes are not the most figure-flattering
I like the stripes!
Depends what your figure is – for girls with no waist, the stripes could create some curves. I love the belt and the deep V – I’m inspired by C’s two posts this week to start hunting some new jackets.
Fabulous for a VP of Marketing, head of creative, Internet, social marketing executive.
That’s me. It’s fabulous.
Like it, but not the color for me (I don’t wear blue usually). Agree that it’s casual Friday-level of dressiness.
I really like this jacket. Very cute.
I LOVE it, and it looks comfortable too. I have never heard of Karen Millen. Thank you for this great recommendation.
I agree! Never heard of her before but many things on the website are awesome!
I love this jacket and could definitely wear it to the office on a day I didn’t have to be at court. I also love the idea of wearing it over a black sheath dress. Any suggestions for a dress that would work well?
Not sure about the jacket in my office, but thanks for a new website shopping suggestion!
Am in London right now and absolutely covet the clothes from Karen Millen. If only I could afford them! (especially with the exchange rate, le sigh.)
Love it! I wear blue all the time, so this will be a great piece to keep hanging behind my office door.
Love, love it, though I am worried that it might be cut a little short for my shape. Great jacket, though.
I love, love, love this jacket. I think if it is paired with the right items, like a sheath as C suggested, it’s suitable for regular work days.
Hmmm…I used to live in the UK. Karen Millen, for the most part, is way too sexy for work, especially if you work somewhere like a bank or law firm (which I did). I have some seriously sassy cocktail dresses from there.
Other things–they cut clothes very small, even by Euro standards–narrow shoulders, etc. And, as others mentioned, very, very pricy.
Great place to window shop and get ideas…their stuff is often knocked off by the high street discounters quickly.
Love love Karen Millen. Work clothes that aren’t borting. I’m a litigator at a fairly conservative firm, and find that Karen Millen can be perfectly appropriate. You just have to make sure the rest of your outfit is conservative.

Can someone please explain to me the sizing here, because it seems way off…
The sizing is in UK sizing. The 1-4 is kinda like XS-L, only a bit smaller for the Brits who don’t eat hydrogenated corn oil all the time.
Love the jacket! The idea to wear it over a sheath dress is just marvelous. Hmmm, just wish I could try it on to see whether the stripes would be flattering (or not so much) to my curves.
Karen Millen has some nice pieces but sizes are cut very small. I take a 10/12 UK size (= 8/10 US size) but in KM I need to go up to a 14 UK.
I live in Ireland (and thus buy UK-sized clothing at home) and whenever I shop in America it is always a difference of 4 numbers. So KM’s sizes sound correct – which UK stores is there only a difference of 2 in?
Oh, man. Serious grabby hands. I actually love it with the white dress on the mannequin. I know, I know — display purposes. But it works! It’s fresh and young. Moments like these make me wonder if PR would’ve been a better choice than law, if only for the wardrobe possibilities.
OMG! Love this!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love.
