I'm thrilled to introduce you guys to a new shoe brand that seeks to bridge the gap between comfort and style for women's pumps: UKIES. For shoes I’m looking for a chic style that has comfort too. I want to look professional but not boring!
My must-haves for a work-appropriate heel: A 2-3 inch heel that isn’t too narrow, a pointed toe, and comfort in my size! I don’t know when it happened, but somewhere along the line, shoe designers decided that a rounded toe was more fashionable… Unfortunately, it seems to cut the shoe shorter, which makes it dreadfully uncomfortable, and somehow, they also seem to have all decided to make shoes with heels that look like pencils. Stilettos are fine — for after work, but for work, I need something with a bit more stability, please!
And I don’t know why it is so hard to find shoes in my size. Is a 6.5 REALLY that rare???
I look for comfort. I love pretty shoes, and I love heels. But, if I can’t wear them comfortably for the entirety of the day’s events, they are an annoyance.
I look for shoes that have enough room in the toe box for my toes.

I need heels that will stay on my feet as I run down DC Metro escalators, don’t make too much distracting noise as I chase lawmakers around the Capitol and (most importantly!) are comfortable enough to stand in during hours-long votes.

In order of importance – comfort (need to be able to run to client meetings), style (classic and timeless, pointed toe preferable), and durable.
I look for shoes that are high enough to make my short legs appear longer and short enough to not cause me to fall down the office staircase.

They have to be wide enough for my toe box, bend at the toe, and have a bit of supportive squoosh. It is so hard to find all of those things in a shoe that’s under $200 and reasonably elegant.

Classic, versatile style
The most important thing I look for in a pair of office heels is low heel height. I feel physically exhausted after a day in heels over 3″.
I have been on the hunt for nude for me hells that arent patent for 5 years now, since my beloved Via Spigas broke.

By far the most important quality in an office shoe is COMFORT! I need to be able to keep up with my coworkers, all day everyday.
I look for a combination of function and fashion, which is what the shoes above have! I’m glad you’ve introduced this brand. I normally add a set of cushions in my pump shoes because they’re uncomfortable otherwise. What a great find these shoes are!
