I think we featured a dress like this last year, but I was just at an alumni event and saw someone wearing it — in the daytime. I gotta say, it was really lovely and wasn't too cocktail evening-y at all. (She got it in the alumni colors, of course, so it was that much better.) I think it's a great dress for cocktails or parties, or for a desk-to-dinner dress. Nordstrom has it in navy and in this lovely emerald, and it comes in regular and plus sizes for $138–$158. Longtime follower, first time poster. Looking for advice/thoughts/etc.
I work for Company A. I received an offer for Company B. For a variety of reasons, I declined Company B, and accepted a counteroffer from current Company A.
As communicated to me by the GC (it’s just us 2 in the Legal Dept), the counteroffer was a salary increase to X on 11/1/17 with a minimum guaranteed bonus at the end of 2017. Another salary increase to Y on 2/1/18, with the same minimum guaranteed bonus at the end of 2018.
This past Friday, he called me into to his office to say that he sent me an email summarizing my salary adjustment. As I was walking out, he said something like “oh by the way, this is all with an understanding you’ll stay through 2018”. I can’t remember what, if anything, I responded. But I checked my email and his summary includes just that, noting it was “as we discussed”. This was never discussed. His email also does not mention that my end of 2017 bonus is a “minimum”, but does mention a minimum end of 2019 bonus, which was also never discussed.
Our HR Dept consists of our CFO and that’s it. It’s just a complete misrepresentation of what was agreed it. I have no idea what to do.

I saw that first white eyelet dress on ChicWish. I love it! I haven’t had the chance to shop there yet. You and your fro are gorgeous! And I saw you on your collab with PeakMill just now. I love your personality. I used to see you on LookBook.Nu when I used to be on the site. You always stood out to me and I was always happy to see a black girl on their timeline. I love your style and thanks for this Lookbook. Even though I have always thought that color looks great against dark brown skin, I was always afraid of white. It looks mahvelous on you! Yaas! Spin girl! Spin!
