I need marriage/career help. My husband and I are political opposites. I just saw a post for a great job, almost a dream job for a national organization that is extremely liberal. The problem is that this group has openly attacked many of the people whom my husband holds in high regard, and I agree, unfairly. In my view, the hate speech is so ugly whether the groups are left or right that I want to stay out of it. But, this job deals with another area of advocacy that I am interested in. Hubby is hurt and angry. I am upset that he pretty much told me not to apply which is out of his character. What now?
