Bags for Work in the 2023 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
There are a ton of cute bags from Kate Spade, Tumi, Cole Haan, AllSaints, Rebecca Minkoff, Coach, and Marc Jacobs in the sale (although not as many as a few days ago!! I'm a bit surprised how much the Kate Spade and Free People stuff has gone).

Wow — some very pretty choices in here! I really need a new wool overcoat. Torn between going practical (gray) or fun (aubergine).
I say fun! Aubergine is probably more versatile than you think.
I second this! I love a dark purple and consider it almost a neutral. If I didn’t already have more than one “fun” coat – my main winter coat is a true red – I would by buying that one.
I love these coats. I really don’t need a full wool overcoat (I live in the Bay Area!) but I want one so much!
I bought the Madewell crossbody tote and I think I’m going to return it. It’s too big to be an everyday handbag but not big enough to be a laptop tote. I’m not sure what it’s for, exactly.
I might be hallucinating. That backpack looks just like a Cole Haan bag, but the link takes me to a different Free People bag. I can’t find a Cole Haan ambition backpack anywhere in the sale.
I’m having trouble finding a tote bag that will hold legal-sized accordion files. I have a wonderful one from Kate Spade from about 6 years ago, and have worn the leather straps so they are fraying and cracked. Now I can’t find anything quite wide enough.
