OMG as I was putting on my lipslicks today I was thinking, d*mn, I miss when clinique made the almost lipstick in more than black honey! I do like the black honey, but it’s not a color I want to wear all the time!
I’m losing it over this news as well! I just went to the Clinque and Sephora websites and it looks like the new colors aren’t available yet, but I am ON IT.

I wonder if I’m the only one not on the Blck Honey bandwagon. I find both color and formula to be very “meh,” but then, I am one who prefers pigment and opacity in my lip products. If I don’t want to wear color, I’ll just dab on some plain ol’ lip balm.
I like the color, but hate the Almost Lipstick. I wish they still made Black Honey as a lip gloss – that was my favorite for years before they discontinued it.
A nail polish PSA – Sally Hanson “salon manicure” – is awesome. I’m awful at doing my own nails and this has a really cool U shaped brush and it also doesnt chip. I think I may have to switch from essie and OPI! Just wanted to share a great find with you ladies!
I swear by this nail polish it is the only kind I use now. I have perfect manicures every time. I find it does chip though, I use a top coat.
UGH! This Lifehacker article about vacations highlights what makes lawyering a difficult profession. I am NEVER at the end of a “project.” There is a deadline almost every day, and certainly every week, in one of my many cases. I would love a job where I have “deliverables” that take a year or 6 months or 3 months to prepare, then I get to move on to the next thing. I am sure if I did, I would realize that those jobs have their own special stressors, but right now, after working in law for 5 years, I feel like I NEVER get a break and there is NEVER a good time to take a vacation. Oh well, taking 2 weeks for the Olympics next year anyway. But I get to stress for the next 8 months over the fallout from it.
