I’ve been a fan of Linea Pelle leather goods since I discovered them a few years ago, and I’m proud to announce a giveaway for Corporette readers! The Dylan Large Shoulder Bag (which retails for $415) has a 9.5″ drop on the handle, gold hardware, and tons of pockets. As always, I love a fun lining, and the zebra one here is great. For fall, the bag is available in tmoro (pictured), black, crimson, and a dark blue “midnight.”
The good folks at Linea Pelle have extended a 20% off code just for Corporette readers: LPCORP20 for any full-price purchase of $150 or more (and get free ground shipping with code G3FREESHIP) (both offers good through 8/31/11).
The Rules: Comment on this post (including your email address), telling us where you’d wear the bag. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, August 23. Winner gets to choose the color. You must include your email in the comment so you can be contacted by Kat in the event you win the giveaway. Your information will be held in confidence by Corporette pursuant to The Corporette Privacy Policy, and you will only be contacted by Kat in the event you win the giveaway.
Note that you can also “Like” Linea Pelle on Facebook and sign up for their VIP newsletter to see more great deals from the company.

Where wouldn’t I wear the bag? As others have said, it would make a lovely everyday bag. It would be just the right size for my Nook, wallet, and other sundries I carry around with me.

I’d love to have this on weekends – big enough to carry toddler gear, but more fashionable than most mom bags.
Tania
I would use it all around the city, such a great bag!

From trudging to work to a divey beach bar, from lounging in Palm Springs to rocking in Vegas, from weddings to birthdays, from dresses to suits, I would rock this bag daily! Gorg.

I’d use it for my new commute- I’ll be carrying my heels as it requires a lot of walking!
Beth
Absolutely everywhere. It’s a gorgeous bag.
LB
I’d use it for work and weekends – I hate having to switch!
SeaElle
What a GORGEOUS bag! I have to agree with everyone else that I would want to bring this everywhere! I’m fresh out of law school and don’t have a permanent job yet but I feel like this would be great when networking since it is sure to warrant a compliment and maybe get a conversation going (especially if you meet another Corporette!)
Always a NYer
This bag is gorgeous!!! The leather looks so soft and the crimson color has me drooling. I’d wear this bag to work, out at night, pretty much anywhere.

Going to NYC over Labor Day weekend. This would be a nice bag to carry around and it’s perfect to transition into Fall.
Not All Nerds
I would wear it to the launch of the next Mars rover in late November 2011. Of course, I’d need to get it in the martian Crimson. Officially I’ll be there for work, but I’ll certainly be doing fun, non-work stuff as well. This bag seems like it could handle it all. Go Mars Science Laboratory!
Jillian
I would wear this lovely bag to law school and to externship and wherever I want! Love the zebra print interior for a kick of fun!

I’ll wear it to job interviews! I am taking a leap and just left my job and am now back on the job market.

I’d take it to my long awaited upcoming vacation to Antigua – I’d carry it with me sight seeing or shopping in St. John as well as to dinner. I can be dressed in shorts or sarongs but this bag will dress everything up.

I would love to use this bag to carry my heavy law school books!
Jennifer
Everywhere, but especially to replace my gross outdoorsy backpack that I usually travel with, love tons of pockets!

Loving the crimson. It would be my go-to bag this fall – a punch of color for work and a symbol of my alma mater on the weekends.

This looks perfect for fall! I would wear it on my honeymoon to the UK in October to carry a camera, guidebooks, tickets, snacks, and the blackberry that I will hopefully be consulting on a very limited basis.
Jenna
Everywhere, definitely. I commute an hour on the train to work, so I always need a bag that can hold a magazine/book, anything I need for work, the essentials, bottle of water or soda or something, but also not get hugely bulky and still look good enough to schlup around the office. This bag seems to fit the bill exactly! And who doesn’t love a well-placed zebra print?
Elizabeth
The midnight blue one would be perfect for my upcoming shore vacation!
Emily
Love, love, love this bag! It’s one of those that you could really use anytime, anywhere…and those are not easy to come by. I will enjoy browing the site as this is a new brand for me. Thanks for the intro!
Jenn
That bag is gorgeous. I’d use it as an every day bag, and definitely bring it with me on my upcoming 2-week California vacation (first vacation in ages)!
Wondering
I would carry this bag to work. I have never had an expensive work bag before (heck, any kind of expensive bag) and this looks very classy.

1. It will go with me to my callback interviews. I will casually mention I won it off a Corporette giveaway, at which point they will be impressed with what a hip-and-with-it Millenial I am, and I will smugly toy with the zipper and say yes. Yes, I am.
2. It will travel to Europe with me when I visit the boyfriend post-OCI. At some point, some vexatious Scandinavian will start disparaging America, at which point I will take out the bag and recite an encomium to Californian design beautiful enough to make Giorgio Vasari weep.
3. It will be with me on a street through one of the grittier parts of town. A balaclava’d man will attempt to attack me, but I will whip out the bag and get him upside the head with it. He will collapse in a heap, thanks to the sturdiness of the bag and my trusty anvil.
That is not all, but that is what is in the foreseeable future.

LOL, awesome entry

I love this bag. I’d wear it to work and on the weekends.

i’d wear it to work – as a 1st yr assoc, maybe it’d give me some oomph in this office!

I’d carry it shopping, and maybe to work!
Viv
I’ll be wearing this bag to work. I like the refined hobo styling.

Would use it for work and to take all my stuff to the coffee shop on the weekends for my hour away from the kiddos.
Sarah Carter
* love * This is perfect for me. I am a working mom, so the pockets would help me a ton. I would not have to transition between diaper bag/work bag and I would still look polished.
Jennie
I’d take it with me while running around all over the place on the weekends. I’d also take it to work when I stop traveling every week. I can’t wait to carry a real purse instead of a tiny one that squeezes into my laptop bag to limit carry ons!
Maddie
I’d wear this bag everywhere, especially in the fall – it’s the perfect size to stash a scarf and a snack when I go to the (chilly, overpriced) movie theater! I love the gold detailing, I’ve recently fallen in love with the gold-and-brown combo. Thanks for holding this giveaway, Kat!

I would take this bag, in red, to the big conference in San Diego this fall. I see it as a great week end bag with lots of room and style.

Umm, where wouldn’t I wear it? It’s a great bag for any occasion! Love it!

I think this bag would be the perfect ‘leisure time’ bag. It could easily transition from casual day to trendy evening wear. I would love to wear it on my trip to wine country later this year. When I get home, I can see myself carrying it to brunch on Saturday, drinks on Saturday night and everything in between!
Lisa
Gorgeous bag! I work for a legislative body and would definitely bring this to our general meetings. It would have plenty of room for snacks, water and everything else I need to get through a long day! I’d also use it on weekends for errands or going out with friends for the day.
