We had the Rothko-inspired skirt the other day, now for the Mondrian-inspired shoes… I love the fun colorblocking on these shoes, as well as the patent leather accents. This is the kind of shoe I would wear with a black skirt and black blouse, and then pick up one of the colors in another accessory…

I have a million totes like this because they’re so functional — they’re especially perfect for carrying reading materials and work papers on to an airplane. Ooh, cute heels from Frye. I like the Western detailing on the leather, as well as the “brush off” two-tone effect, particularly with the dark brown ones (pictured; they’re also available in black and smoke). I’d probably wear them with trousers for the office. They were $178, but are now marked to $104.99 at Zappos….
