Jules
And for those uncomfortable with the commercialization of Veterans’ Day, Uniqlo has a Singles’ Day promotion going on . . .
Cat
Free shipping minimums have cost at least 3 stores my business today (attempting to Christmas shop). I refuse to pay $8 to purchase a $50 sweater.
VKD
It may be more hassle than it’s worth, but can you get to the minimum and then return extras to a store? Obviously not if there is no local store, and clearly not the intent of the retailer, but I tend to use this tactic when I may be between sizes or not absolutely positive on whether I will love something. And only when the store is not out of my way.
Cat
I have definitely done this in the past, but I’m not a fan of needing to give Future Cat errands to run. So, items abandoned in shopping carts. Maybe I’ll get an email from the stores to entice me to check out.
Anon for this
My company’s sales team has what I’ll call a sales training guide that includes various things in it. One of those things is essentially a “guide to dressing” for any occasion. The men’s portion is a nice 4 page article that goes into numerous types of occasions and examples of proper dress. The women’s is a one-pager and the language is less professional and more condescending. I would like to find a new resource for our sales team to start using in their training guide. Do any of you have suggestions?
Soma
I just purchased 5 pairs of vanishing edge underwear at Soma and saved over half (buy 3 get 2 free + 25% off). If anyone needs some, now is a good time to stock up!
