I just dropped off my watch (Cartier French Tank) for a battery replacement and general maintenance. Since it has to be sent to Cartier, it will be at least a couple weeks before I get it back, I think. Any recommendations for a very inexpensive, perhaps fun, replacement watch to wear while I await its return? I would not want to spend much (under $30), but also don’t want it to completely clash with my general style (consistent with a French Tank from Cartier). Any ideas? Last time this happened (different watch) I wore my son’s Winnie the Pooh watch for a while. That was terrible ;)

Nordstrom’s junior section (BP) has a lot of watches that are cheap but don’t look it (at least, not for awhile).

If you have a Charming Charlie close by, they have a crazy assortment of cheap watches and you could really experiment with something fun!
