Tuesday’s TPS Report: ABS Allen Schwartz Fitted Crepe Dress
This post may contain affiliate links and Corporette® may earn commissions for purchases made through links in this post. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices. We begin the week in splurge mode, with our most expensive suggestions, and wind our way to Friday, where a less expensive item of clothing might be just what you need to make it to the weekend.
If you're looking for a basic sheath dress, this is a great one. We love the wide crewneck, the darts at the waist, and the ladylike length of the dress. It's $211 at Zappos, which has just started offering free overnight shipping on clothes. ABS Allen Schwartz – Fitted Crepe Dress w/ Waist Darts (Black) – Apparel

This is a great dress. Sometimes I think it would be nice to just buy 5 plain dresses like this, 5 nice jackets, 5 nice bright scarves or necklaces, and say the hell with it, that’s my uniform, and be able to quit fussing so much. Maybe this is just the bad-news-week talking (my god, is it only Tuesday?!). But it would be a, hmm, soothing? option to fall back on when you can’t be bothered with it all.
Zappos only goes to size 10. Feh. Neiman Marcus has it on sale for $123, full range of sizes 0 to 14, except 10. It’s polyester. which really makes me wonder if I’d be safe very carefully hand-washing it, cold water, no scrubbing or twisting, lay flat to dry, careful ironing. I hate ironing, but I also seriously hate fiddling around with dry cleaning.
Hi All,
I’m a long time anonymous onlooker but I decided to make the jump.
I realize there’s a lot of nice people in here and I probably differ from them a lot in some areas but I am looking for some nice discussion.
