  1. Seeking an everyday handbag for casual outdoor activity, long walks, parks, local travel, etc. Medium, crossbody, nylon. I ordered a Kipling bag but it was too small, and most of its styles seem to skew very young. I’d love it if it could truly be an everyday bag and passable for regular night’s out/social activities as well (simple and black for example). Can anyone point me to some durable, possibly athletic brands, that offer handbags?

    1. Check out Baggalini. I think they have a bunch that would meet your parameters. I like the Everywhere bag.

  2. I like the Patagonia Atom sling bag for weekend activities, but it may be smaller than what you’re looking for.

  3. I love the how the Gilette campaign is being trashed by McSweenies. Is it true that the Gillette commercials are making men out to be sissies? I can’t imagine that helps their image, and women should likely not like for their spouses to be sissified. What does the HIVE think? I have NOT seen any ads from Gillette, but now wonder.
