I totally loved the Above the Law article about Chief Judge Garland, and his citation of My Cousin Vinny’s famous cross examination scene. I grew up on that movie, which kind of caused me to want to be an attorney at law. Dad says that Chief Judge almost made it to the Supreme Court, which would have been such a good thing for the country, as we need judges with the ability to provide applicable humourous references in their opinions. My judge in NYC is also a good example, but Dad says he could never be considered for a Supreme Court position. I disagree. He may be a little to old at this point, but he has GREAT judical temperment, and he loves my breifs, and he is almost like an uncle to me, b/c Dad does NOT have any brother’s. Anyway, I encourage the HIVE to read this article and share in this judicial wisdom! YAY!!!
