Am I missing where you actually get to the calculator? I clicked on the link but I can’t find it!
I will say that I started a clothing spreadsheet based on this group’s recommendation, and a desire to wear all of my clothes thirty times, and we are all probably vastly overestimating the number of times we wear something. Granted, I have a big closet, but it takes a long time to cycle through everything, so I’ve only hit thirty wears on some basics like a black turtleneck.
Oh that’s so weird, once I went back to the page the calculator was there. Please ignore.
WaPo didn’t warn against masks with vents, the CDC did.
I seem to be all riled up from the grouchy thread this morning, ha!
Gosh that calculator was such a waste of time. If you are estimating/inputting cost and no. of wears, you can do the rest of the math in your head, right?
Now if it asked for the fabric, how trendy/classic the style was, the brand (as a proxy for quality) etc and estimated how long that item would last, and how long it was likely to stay in your rotation and THEN gave you a CPW estimate based on that… well then I’d find some value in it.
