I hate the nap dress style so much. Cannot imagine going the bridal route, but to each her own?
Same girl, saaaaame.
Oh my Lord. The see-through tulle version…

That is….. what…?
Lord. I now have the Oklahoma theme song running through my head.
I would so need to talk my kindergarten kid out of living in this dress. I am a particular fan of the visible underwear.
I actually have the sheer navy tulle. With a matching slip underneath (HHH sells them) it is an amazing party dress! But yeah no to the underwear look.
I think it can look cute on other people (horribly unflattering on my body though) but bridal nap dresses sounds like an April Fool’s joke.
Maybe, if I lived on a farm….?
I guess those of us who lived through Laura Ashley or had mothers who forced them to wear these dresses when we were 7 just have a different impression of this revival.
The NYT article comments is pretty amusing, although the average age of poster is probably ~65….
“These people suffer from thinking they’re doing something wrong, that they’re wiping wrong or their hygiene is wrong,” he says. “This paper explains perhaps why they’re having these problems and that it’s not their fault.” Um. I am pretty tired of the doctor acting like I don’t know how to wipe. Maybe when I was in my 20s and partying. But my UTIs for the past 30 years are not due to lack of hygiene.
