(Mostly) just for fun: Seeking baby name suggestions! DH just found out we’re expecting and we aren’t planning on finding out the s e x. We both like classic names that people recognize but aren’t super popular (e.g., Caroline, Jonas).
I don’t have any great suggestions, but just choose what you like, because there’s no telling what will be popular. We named our now 28-y-o Taylor, which was my ex-H’s mother’s maiden name. We liked the idea of a gender-neutral name (handy now that the kid is grown up and non-binary but that wasn’t on our radar!), and thought it was different and not popular. Then, on the three-days-old visit to the pediatrician, there were two or three other tiny Taylors in the waiting room at the same time as us! Taylors were then everywhere all through the kid’s schooling (and their main college girlfriend was named Taylor also, their friends just called them “the Taylors”).
And congratulations!

Ha, this makes me think of Taylor Lautner, who dated Taylor Swift, and then went on to marry a different woman named Taylor who took his last name so they’re now the Taylors Lautner.

My daughter’s name is Adeline and we get a lot of compliments on it. We haven’t met any others in her generation.
