  1. Re GLP-1’s: the majority of people taking them don’t have significant side effects. And it’s bizarre to complain about having to stop taking it if you have a procedure — this applies to any lifetime medication. And complaining about having to hydrate and eat right? Sigh.

    1. Exactly. I feel like the narrative keeps getting pushed because heaven forbid fat people don’t stay fat. Going on Zepbound has been the best thing for my health. For the first time in years I’m no longer prediabetic and I can walk without significant joint pain. I’m at a 7.5 dose now and have experienced absolutely zero side effects. In fact it’s been the only thing that helped my chronic diarrhea following colon cancer years ago. I don’t tell anyone IRL I’m on it anymore because I expect there will be things like this where folks try to make it out into something mysteriously bad. I’ll listen to my doctor instead.
