Coffee Break: Blue Bean Druzy Statement Necklace

Andara Cut Out Blue Bean Druzy Statement NecklaceI bought this necklace a while ago from one of the online flash sample sites, thinking, oooh, statement piece. And while it's gorgeous, and organic-looking, and definitely a statement, the necklace as a whole is a lot lower key than what I was originally expecting — which kind of makes me like it more. I think this would look great with a cowlneck blouse and a pencil skirt, or even a simple sheath dress. It's $190 at Max and Chloe. Andara Cut Out Blue Bean Druzy Statement Necklace (L-2)

  1. Nice, but more than I want to spend right now. However, just this morning I was thinking I need some colorful jewelry accent pieces. What are your sources for [relatively cheap but looks nice and won’t break] costume jewelry?

    1. JCPenny has been a surprisingly good source lately.
H&M. You have to weed through the ‘I’d rather be clubbing’ stuff, but it’s worth it.

      1. I have a couple necklaces from JC Penny in constant rotation, and one is probably my most complimented accessory. I think it was $10 (with a pair of earrings I never wear).

    2. My favorite and most unique pieces tend to come from craft fairs, flea markets, consignment shops and thrift stores.

I also buy sale pieces from a random assortment of stores: Banana Republic, Coldwater Creek, Ann Taylor, Nordstrom’s. I’ve also had luck with Kate Spade sales for really whimsical pieces. If you have a Marshall’s or TJ Maxx nearby and don’t mind digging, there’s usually a few gems there as well.

    3. For statement pieces: 1-2 seasons of wear (not for interviews or with good suits) my go-to is Cost Plus World Market! I’ve gotten pieces from them for $12-18 and get rave reviews from clients, co-workers and friends. Sometimes they have weird “accent” pieces in the necklaces, so I just re-string them myself and omit any offending pieces. I also do that to remove clasps that are not high-quality metal, as I’m allergic to nickel in jewelry.

      1. Second World Market. Some of the pieces are on the “tribal-y” or kind of kitcsch-y end but I kind of like that. :)

    4. I’ve bought quite a few nice pieces from Etsy. I used to buy costume jewelry at markets but then learned that much of it is bought from China and marked up.

    5. My favorite and most-complimented statement necklaces came from the clearance rack at Burlington Coat Factory for 6 bucks, and from the clearance rack at The Icing for 2 dollars. I don’t bother with “real” jewelry anymore.

    6. Forever 21! You can find some great pieces there for dirt cheap. You’ll have to weed through the ones that just plain look cheap, and they’re not gonna last you forever, but I’ve found some great pieces that have held up pretty well.

  2. Oh my goodness, want it! Sadly its not in the budget. Anyone want to volunteer to find a less expensive version with the same feel / look?

    1. seconded! I made the same request below. I am too pregnant for new clothes, but my neck hasn’t gained any weight!!

  3. How much do you tip movers? Google said 5%, but that seemed low to me. If it matters, I’m just moving to a new apartment in the same city (although the new apartment is on the third floor with no elevator) and I expect the cost to be $400-500.

      1. When I moved from my home to NYC (the first place), my dad paid the MOVER’s alot. Plus, I gave them $50 each as a tip X3 peeople =$150 tip. But when I moved from my flee infested place to my new apartement, I threw out alot of stuff, and got new furnisheing’s, so I did NOT have to pay mover’s. I did NOT take the junk that Grandma Leyeh had given me — b/c I had a new place I did NOT want to have stuff from the 1950’s in my place, plus there was mice in the old place and I did NOT want any droppeings to be carried in.

So I sent alot of laundrey home — my mom did it, and then my dad brought it to my new apartement. Then I got some new stuff from Grasious Home and West Elm and some other places, which My dad picked out for me, and a new TEMPUR PEDIC matress that did NOT have any traces of ALAN (FOOEY), so I could start fresh.

If you want to start fresh, start LIGHT, and do NOT move old ratty stuff in that you will not like. Also, you should NOT want any mice droppeings or worse in your new apartement. This way, any man who see’s it will think you are an impeckeable house keeper, even tho you do NOT do any house cleaneing or laundrey, and by the time he figure’s that out, you will be MARRIED!!!!! YAY!!!!

      2. We’ve done 20-25 per person. sometimes a little more if there is a guy who is more of a ‘foreman’ and does a fantastic job. I also always give water/gatorade, especially in the summer months.

    1. I give them bagels, water and $20 per mover. Three flights of steps – I would probably give them more ($25 – 30). The cash is contingent on attitude, promptness, and efficiency.

    2. I just moved and I also gave snacks, water, and $20 per mover ($30 for the crew chief). They were awesome and I was happy to do it.

    3. I live in a third floor walk up — we tipped $50/person. Most of the furniture had to be lifted straight from the first to the second floor because it was a narrow brownstone. They worked really hard. If it’s just “up” three flights, you might do less. But it can be a lot of work, depending on your building, so prepare to do more.

  4. I was already notified that my order from this morning has shipped and will arrive in 1-2 business days. I don’t know how long the sale is but I’ll report back on the fit/fidelity to the size chart. For a change my exact waist and hip measurements matched up to a stated size so I have high hopes that will probably be dashed.

Pretty psyched to get a silk top, a pair of suit pants and a really cool wool jacket for $170 total. Thanks Kat!

  5. Kate Spade just sent me an email cancelling my order from their friends and family sale last week, no explanation or offer to use the discount on something else. I’m irked.

    1. I’ve had that happen too. Placed my order and then a day or two later got an e-mail that it was cancelled because the bag was out of stock. Definitely upset that the website didn’t alert me of that fact at the time I tried to order.

    2. this has been happening to me a lot recently– twice at anthro and once at nordstrom (!). no discounts offered any time. really irksome, especially when I still had to pay exorbitant anthro shipping charges for the cheap item I had ordered alongside the dress that got cancelled.

    3. That once happened to me on RueLaLa, and I called customer service and griped and ended up getting a $25 credit.

      1. From my experience, flash sale websites have pretty good customer services. Ruelala, Hautelook and Fab.com all fixed the issues I had with them

  6. What is the secret to not getting moderated on this board? I would post more, but every. single. post. gets sent to moderation? I tried clearing my cache but that doesn’t seem to work either. I’m using Google Chrome on my desk computer.

    1. Things I know will put me in moderation

      – anything with e t t e (presumably due to the name of this site, but also including things like bachelor e t t e )
      – c*cktail (without the * obviously)

Maybe other people can add to this list?

      1. -Including more than one link
        -Remember that “e t t e” includes your email address/handle

      2. anything with the work c*ck contained in it (c*cktail, peac*ck, etc)
        anything with e t t e
I think p@nd@ (based on the mean poster using that name a while back?) a couple people got caught trying to say “sad p@nda”
when in doubt, a lot of people use * for words like s*x, and explicit words for related activities and body parts, but its not clear which/if get you put in mod

I thought is was more than 2 links but I got caught today with 2, so maybe more than 1.

regarding refreshing – I’ve often been seeing the site with # of comments off, or new post not showing up right away, it usually refreshes properly after I comment, and if I do ctrl-refresh that helps too (not sure if the ctrl- is totally necessary, but its something I learned a long time ago and it seems to work)

Leaving the email address space blank (leaving site blank is ok) (Kat – could you put a asterix next to Name and Email to make that more clear?)

        1. oh, and I think the first time you use a Name and/or email it goes to mod automatically until Kat approves you, so if you’re switching handles to try to get out of mod that will probably get you caught too.

If your posts are just disappearing, and you don’t see the “your comment is in moderation” comment, try holding down ctrl while refreshing.

Some days my posts seem to go to some kind of word press site that is blocked on my company’s server, so then they disappear into thin air. My phone sometimes makes posts disappear into thin air too, but I thinks thats because it loses its connection, not this site’s fault

        2. FWIW, I never put in an e-mail address, and I’ve never been moderated on that basis.

    2. Not sure if they’ll get moderated, but I avoid words like s*xy. Basically anything that might get you confused with a porn spammer.

And sometimes, but not always, links in your posts will get you in moderation. It usually works to put the link in a separate comment.

And lately the site’s just been kind of wonky. (Kat, FYI, I’m having all kinds of trouble today using IE — the comments don’t update and I can’t see the coffee break post — i.e., this one — but it’s fine on Firefox.) However, we all put up with it out of love, and a desire to be distracted from our overachieving jobs.

      1. It has been wonky for me too. I don’t even see the new posts on firefox, and some posts of mine have just up and disappeared, only to show up like an hour later.

        1. Someone mentioned yesterday (or day before) that they refresh a couple of times and then everything shows up. I tried that in Firefox (rather than clearing history) and it’s working for me. Still annoying.

    3. When that happened to me, I emailed Kat and found out that I’d used two different user names in the same thread, so was on a kind of probation (my word, not hers)

      1. Ha, I do that all the time, especially when I’m cutting someone down and need to agree with myself.

          1. That’s what she said in her email. A list of forbidden words sure would be helpful!

        1. Glad to hear I am not the only dork who changes names, depending on my mood and level of snark.

      2. Ditto, except my probation has lasted months and AFAIK is still in effect despite not using different handles.

    4. Thanks for the help–but even this post got moderated! It took almost an hour for it to show up like a normal post for me.

There must be something funky about my work computer. I usually don’t have trouble posting from my Mac Book Pro at home.

      1. Do you subscribe to updates via email? It may be that your posts are showing up for other people but not for you. Sometimes posts come to my email before I can see them on this site.

      2. Actually, moderation is a -good- thing. Keeps spam out of comments, which would not just keep you from posting but from reading as well.
Normally, if one absolutely needs immediate feedback the solution is to talk to a live person..

  7. Frivolous but happy update for the people who responded to my request last week for tips on making home manicures last longer: It is now thursday, and the nail polish that I applied on the weekend has just a little bit of tip wear. It’s a miracle! Swiping my nails with acetone before applying polish seemed to make the biggest difference, even more so than a base coat.

New TJ: Recommendations for your favorite moisturizers? My skin is very average and not too picky — not really dry, maybe mildly oily around the T zone, not prone to breakouts (that aren’t hormonal at least). I’m currently using Hope in a Jar, but the smell is a little funky and the cost seems hard to justify when it doesn’t seem to do that much for me. I’m thinking of switching to just a simple drugstore brand type moisturizer, but I’m open to more expensive products if the results seem on par with the cost.

    1. I just use natural oils, almond or apricot and it makes a huge difference. I have pretty sensitive skin and the more ingredients things have, the less tolerant e my skin is to them.

    2. Glad that tip helped! I’ve really been trying to remember to do the acetone swipe. It makes a big difference – no water, lotion, soap, or oils on your nails.

    3. Cerave from the drugstore is the best! Just the regular “moisturizing lotion'” in a big pump bottle, not any of the ‘facial moisturizing lotion/cream” small bottles. My super-sensitive skin can swing from oily to dry, and Cerave evens it out without getting oily. I don’t notice the scent at all, and it’s reduced my rosacea-like flushing immensely. No sunscreen, which may be an issue for you.

      1. +1 for CeraVe cream. It’s the perfect moisturizer.

For face, I have used Neutrogena’s non-clogging daily moisurizer without SPF for years and love it. I try others and keep coming back. I’ve actually never considered using cerave on my face – will try!

    4. I tend to be just a bit dry except for a slightly oily T-zone and I like Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. It’s more spendy than a drugstore brand but it’s light and absorbs quickly. Now that I’m in my 30s I’ve found I need a daily moisturizer but haven’t needed anything too heavy so this has been my fave so far.

    5. If your skin can handle the thickness of Hope in a Jar, I’d recommend Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion. Similar to Cerave, it’s a really straightforward lotion that doesn’t seem to cause any problems and moisturizes really well.

      1. I have sensitive, combination skin and I’ve had success with the Take a Deep Breath by Philosophy. I have had luck using this moisturizer year round.

    6. Shikai Borage Therapy moisturizer, which Whole Foods sells (I get it through Amazon though), is awesome for my sensitive skin. It moisturizes really deeply but isn’t greasy. No animal testing, no fragrance, and works great. Very affordable but IMO a step up in quality from drugstore brands.

  8. Thinking of purchasing this purse as an every day work purse. Does anyone own one and have thoughts pro or con? Thanks.

    1. I have the MAB, not the MAB mini, and used to use it as an everyday bag.

I wasn’t that impressed by the quality, as the stitching at various parts of the bag started fraying after a month or two. Also, the hardware is really heavy. I did like the outside pocket and the overall look of the bag (in black), and the MAB held everything I needed it to.

  9. I just bought a druzy necklace with a small peridot under it for my friend for her birthday. It’s so hard for me to buy someone something that’s not my taste (not a big fan of druzy) but I remembered shopping at this store with her and she was oohing and aahing over everything in the druzy case. She loved it!

  10. I looked through the beautypedia reviews and didn’t find what I’m looking for so I’m posting here. I’m looking for a recommendation for a tinted moisturizer now that a few months of retin-a usage has markedly improved my skin. I have oily skin and would prefer a product with sunscreen. My skin tone is somewhat uneven still so I would prefer heavier coverage (just not as heavy as foundation). I think a lot of people have started using BB creams instead of tinted moisturizer but I am hesitant to go that route in case the BB cream has an ingredient that doesn’t interact well with retin-a. Any suggestions?

      1. I agree. I generally hate foundation. This is a heavier tinted moisturizer, but still light, and the coverage is great.

    1. I like the Tarte BB cream and have not had problems on my sensitive skin. The SPF comes from physical blockers not chemicals that can irriatate skin.

      1. Second the Tarte BB cream. I wear it every day with no problems. It’s the perfect amount of coverage.

        1. Third. I went from not wearing anything under my concealer and bronzer to wearing this everyday. I live in a very humid part of the country and it feels weightless.

      2. I am just testing this out this week. So far I absolutely love it!

I went into Sephora and asked them to give me samples of everything that is known for working well on sensitive skin that is light to medium coverage.

The Tarte BB cream so far is my favorite, but for the OP I also got Hourglass (never heard of it before, but it is known for being non-preservative type/non-irritating) and Stila tinted moisturizer.

The Hourglass foundation was good, but a bit heavier than I wanted, and the lightest shade was still too dark for me, but if you have medium to dark skin tone this might be a good option.

I have also heard great things about the Clinique foundations from my friends who have serious skin sensitivity, though I haven’t tried it myself, it is on my list to test out.

    2. I use Aveda tinted moisturizer for everyday – its ok, but doesn’t always last all day. It does have sunscreen. Just remember though that most products like foundation, tinted moisturizer and powder get their SPF ratings by being tested much much thicker than the average person applies them – so if you are going to be out in the sun all day, you should use a regular sunscreen on your face, not just rely on your makeup.

    3. Thanks for all of the suggestions! Sounds like I have a lot of products to test before buying one.

      1. I’ll add one more to the mix: I recently discovered Dr. Jart Beauty Balm (a BB cream) and I love it. I have very sensitive skin and it’s not been an issue. It has an SPF 25, which is also nice b/c most tinted moisturizers only do 15.

  11. I posted about a month ago about whether or not to go on a date with a guy in my new friend group. I was interested but unsure if I was risking my new friend group by dating him. Thanks for encouraging me to take a chance. I’ve been seeing him since then and I have a really good feeling about where our relationship is headed…so thanks!

  12. First time poster, immediate TJ so thanks in advance!
Background: The Mr. and I moved to a far-away state to follow his career, and I immediately started with a Fortune 50 company in a career that I love. In the past few years, we’ve assumed that we would follow my career for the next move since I have seemingly been on a straight upward trajectory. Although I’ve been up for a promotion 3 times, I’ve been passed over because another (always male) manager wanted a lateral transfer/ new challenge, etc. Now my husband has a chance to move on with his career and I feel good about supporting him if we find a good fit, both personally and professionally, and taking my skills/ experience elsewhere.
Current situation: He is a finalist for a job in the city/ state that we moved here from. Overall, it would be great for our family and a good step for his career. There is a position open in my field (for a different company) in that area. I have really built up some great experience at my current company and think that I would be a serious contender, however I realize that they may immediately discard my application because it is coming from out of state. I welcome any input from the hive as to whether to apply now, or wait to see if my husband gets his job first and then look for a position once we’re there (as this one will most likely be closed by the time we know). A few considerations: 1. we are not 100% moving there. We would like too, but if he isn’t offered the job, we would look somewhere else or even stay here until something happens for either of us. 2. I don’t know anyone from my company or the new company in that area that I could do any prep pre- application. Should I try to get on the hiring manager’s calendar (possibly in an informational interview sense) before even submitting an application? 3. If I were to simply ‘throw my hat in the ring’ and see what happens, how should I frame the cover letter to express that although we live in state X, we are planning to relocate to Y ASAP?

    1. Is it the same field that you worked in when you lived in [previous city]? Are you still in touch with anyone from your job in that city? I would start by connecting with everyone you had a working relationship with in [previous city] on Linked In, and then see if they are contacts with anyone that works at the company you are looking to apply to (or former employees). You might be able to work your connections to get your resume and cover letter into someone’s hands, as opposed to being filtered out by a computer or someone that just glances at your address and tosses your resume. As to 3. I think this is easier to deal with since you used to live in previous city – you can just say something like “[something about learning/growing/sad to leave current company], I am planning to relocating back to [previous city] in [general timeframe].” I think since you had lived there before, it might be implied that you are “returning home” and moving there permanently. I wouldn’t mention that you followed your husbands career twice – that would scare me that you were planning to follow him again in another 2-3 years.
If I were you I’d get in touch with people from your last company to find out if there are any openings there if you left on a good note – you might be considered more like an “internal candidate” since you worked there in the past.

    2. The fact that you are from that state originally definitely helps your case. I would apply and make clear in my cover letter I am from there and planning a move back. Until you receive an offer don’t worry too much that you are not 100% sure on moving back. I’d apply now and see where the chips fall. I think of informational interviews as more for people starting out and interested in a particular field, not someone in your position.

    3. Apply now. Sometimes candidates pull out of a search because the spouse’s move didn’t go as planned. People understand and you can cross that bridge if you get there. Missing the opportunity would be worse.

Informational interviews are more appropriate when you are interested in a company but they do not currently have an open position (such as if/when you follow a spouse). Since there’s a position open, simply apply. Do query your networks for mutual contacts, though.

Say that you are from the area and planning a return move. It does look a lot better when you are from the area originally.

    4. This may be too obvious to say, but if there’s any way to include letters of recommendation, they should come from the city where the job is located.

    1. I think they are cute, not old lady at all. I personally prefer heels to flats but I would wear these for Fridays, or to dress up my weekend look a bit.

    2. Nope. I think they’re cute and would be extremely versatile. There’s a lot of sleek black/white stuff in the fashion magazines right now too, so they’re more on-trend than a lot of louder, younger-skewing shoes anyway (if you care about being on trend, which I don’t always).

  13. I would buy this in a heartbeat if I didn’t have a panic attack about our impending baby costs.

Anybody know of anything almost as cute but under, say, $75?

    1. I ordered them. I have terrible feet.. most heels are painful to me and I’m 5’11” so I avoid them for work. Flats are only painful to me if they don’t have any cushioning/support, which would be about 90% of attractive flats available for sale. Bc of this I’m always on the lookout for comfy attractive flats and I’m willing to shell out $$ if they meet my criteria.

Pregomama: these sort of remind me of cap toe flats i’ve been eyeing (such as these Clarks which I”m now tempted to get because the price went down a lot http://www.amazon.com/indigo-Clarks-Womens-Valley-Moon/dp/B006ZUHX22). Target carries a similar version: http://www.target.com/p/women-s-merona-bella-genuine-leather-cap-toe-flat-natural-gold/-/A-14221610?ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001&AFID=Google_PLA_df&LNM=%7C14221593&CPNG=Shoes&kpid=14221593&LID=PA&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=14221593 I’m also realizing Target has knockoffs of the JCrew Cece flat and a pair of Cole Haan nike air flats I was eyeing. The only problem is the Target versions have no arch support or cushioning.. you’re basically walking on the ground. Some people’s feet can handle that, but mine cannot. Unfortunately I don’t think you’ll find anything with significant cushioning unless they’re on clearance on 6pm.com or you’re a “lucky size”

  14. I saw your post earlier about healthy lunches and wanted to know – how on earth do you keep your hardboiled eggs for a week? Mine are always gross after a day. Clearly I’m doing something wrong. Any help is appreciated!!

    1. Not who you aksed, but how are you keeping the eggs after boiling them? I find mine last for several days if I don’t peel them and keep them in the fridge.

      1. Hm, thanks! I’ve read to peel them and keep them in water, which always ends up making them look odd and then I get those gray/black lines.

    2. I keep them in the fridge for up to a week. I do not peel them. Leave them in the shell. I peel them the night before when I put them in my lunch “box”.

      They last fine.

I use the Joy of Cooking instructions for a hard boiled egg. They are well cooked.

      I haven’t gotten Salmonella so far…

  15. If both the bride and groom are going to be at a bridal shower, am I obligated to get each of them a gift? They have one registry for the bride and one registry for the groom.

    1. I’ve never heard of a bride and groom having their own registry… ??? But the coed showers I’ve attended have been one gift for the couple, sometimes with an inside-joke gag gift or particularly sentimental add-on for one of them.

    2. Well technically you are not obligated to get either of them a gift. :p I think you are fine either 1) getting something both of them can use; 2) getting them each something small off their respective registries; or 3) if you are only close to one of them, getting a gift off that person’s registry. In other words, no real wrong way to go here. Just go and have fun and congratulate them both.

          1. Probably too late for this, but that was rude, and Anon is right. The purpose is to “shower” the person with gifts.

  16. TJ! Hello ladies,

I’m looking to help out a friend, but have no clue where to start and was hoping for some assistance. My friend broke her lease about 8 months early, in part because the landlord failed to fix the air conditioner in her third story apartment during the summer months. About two years later, they sued her for the remainder of her rent due under the lease, plus interest. The lease she signed says she will be liable for rent for the remainder of the lease. What gets me though is this: her landlord had her pay over $400 in “break lease fees.” Because of this, she thought she was absolved of her duties under the lease. The lease makes no mention of any break lease fees or their potential effect. She signed nothing and received no other documentation at the time she paid the >$400 break lease fees.

Has anyone come across the legal ramifications (if any) of these break lease fees? Or does anywhere know a good place to start?

    TIA!

    1. The Department of Consumer Affairs in my state has a landlord-tenant handbook that I have found very helpful. If you live in a city with a rent board, they may have resources available.

    2. Also check the statute of limitations on enforcing this- 2 years may be outside that window.

    3. Not a lawyer here, but many landlords.. The landlord can’t have it both ways, lease break fee and then demand for extra rent. I agree with the probable statutes of limitation. And don’t overlook the fact that if air conditioning was mentioned in the lease, or simply there and working from the first, there’d be an expectation that it’d keep working, so the landlord would have been breaking the contract to begin with. Some jurisdictions even have ranges of temperature which must be maintained in order for a place to be legally habitable. The details would vary with the state of course, and even the county or municipality, but that’d be the gist of it, Contact your local tenant association for details.
Your friend might try the classic lawyer thing and counter-sue them for moving expenses, since she was forced to move because of their failure to maintain the place :-)?

  17. I am looking to go back to school for accounting (I currently do project management with no degree). There is a university in the area that offers a 22 month certificate program that would allow me to sit for the CPA exam. I am trying to figure out if I should go for a BA or if the certificate and passing the CPA exam would be enough to get me started in the field. Any accountants that have input?

    1. Hate to say this, but for Accounting not only do you need a BA but you may be encouraged to get a Masters down the line. With just the certificate it will be difficult to get a job above basic bookkeeping.

    2. I am currently an accountant with my BA in accounting and am currently working as a CPA in a public setting doing audit work. I think you should get the BA degree and if your grades are excellent, you should have no problem finding a job post-graduation, even before passing the exam. When hiring, my firm looks for candidates with good grades and the ability to apply the basics of accounting. Each firm is different, so we leave the detailed training for when you start. Many firms will include a nice bonus for when you pass the exam.

    3. Get your BA. I’m an accountant and my company won’t look at anyone without a BA. Getting a CPA with just a certificate may work in your state, but you may have significant problems getting reciprocity in other states without at least a BA or often times 150 hours (basically a MACC or MBA).

You may have luck starting at a community college and transferring into a four year program. Consult with the four year program first to find out what they will accept in transfer credits.

    4. Thank you all for taking the time to answer. I was thinking that the BA was the way to go, and it’s been confirmed. Only bad thing is that I have quite a bit of college credit, but my grades suck. I have no idea how to go about fixing that. :/ Oh the stupidity of youth.

      1. If you can get accepted into this new University, you can then talk about your GPA in the program, which will be the relevant thing professionally. And if your grades preclude you from acceptance, get into a matching junior college and get good grades now, the older ones will likely be forgiven if you address the issue rationally in your admission essay. Good luck!

  18. Dear god – it feels awful for another time this week to, have to be thinking this, but – R e t t e s in Boston, particularly in Allston Brighton, Newton, Watertown, Boston, and the other towns listed on lockdown, please stay indoors and safe. All MBTA services are shut down and all businesses in the target area are closed, so there’s no reason to go out. This world today, I just can’t with it. I hope everyone stays safe and well.

  19. Stay safe, ‘r3tt3s in the Boston area! I hope you’re well-stocked for TP & beer
