This week's suit of the week is a gorgeous black-and-blue plaid number, with gold threads running throughout, from Diane von Furstenberg. Both the jacket and the skirt would be adorable on their own, or together. We particularly love the high waist on the skirt -- it's a much easier way to wear the trend rather than, say, high-waisted trousers. Suit of the Week: Rebecca Taylor Tweed
We're loving this gray tweed suit by Rebecca Taylor. Yes, some of her stuff can be a bit too precious at times, but we think this one is a feminine yet powerful suit. We love the cut of the jacket, the high three buttons, the puckering under the pockets, the fringe detail, and even the tonal flower detail (although we'd be surprised if that couldn't be removed in case it wasn't your cup of tea).
