For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional.
I don’t think we’ve featured this simple navy suit from Elie Tahari before, but I really like it — the slim lapels on the fitted blazer look great, and the slim pants look sleek and sophisticated. It’s also nice to see a more designer-y suit that goes up to size 16; some other noteworthy brands in this price range stop at 10/12. Bloomingdale’s has the blazer and pants, as does the Elie Tahari website. (And: whoa: the blazer and pants are also available via Amazon Prime Wardrobe, which could be awesome for trying on interview suits…) The blazer is $398, and the pants are $198.
