The Most Comfortable Office Clothes for Women
Stylish Pull-On Pants
One of the first places to start if you want to be more comfortable is your clothing choices on your lower half. A lot of people will immediately say no to pantyhose — and even to tights — so until the weather gets warmer you’re probably looking at pants alone.
These are some of our favorite options that are pull-on options — they feel like athleisure but look like workwear. Yes please.
Cozy but Polished: Sweater Jackets for the Office
A third piece is always an easy way to add polish and a dash of authority. Blazers are easy, but sweater jackets are a close second — they’re stylish and trendy right now, and there are a ton of cozy options to choose from. Some of our favorites are below:

Some of our latest favorite fancier tees include these options:

Looking for t-shirts with fun but professional prints? Some classic brands to check here include Ted Baker, Boden, and The Kit. These may be on the more casual side, but also check Wit & Wisdom, Caslon, Sanctuary, and Tommy Bahama.

In formal offices, you can’t take just any t-shirt and wear it to work — you have to look for something with a touch more elegance. We’re big fans of ballet sleeves and interesting necklines. (Note also how these don’t have pockets on the chest and are generally a bit more fitted.) These make great layering pieces under sweaters, blazers, and more.
Here is our most recent round-up of favorites, but it’s due for an update…

Comfortable Flats for Work
If you’re interested in comfort, you’re probably packing away the 4″ stilettos. Sneakers for the office are much more acceptable than they’ve ever been, and there are a ton of flats and loafers that are constructed like sneakers (many of them washable!).
Still, if you’ve got a big meeting or the like, you’re probably going to want more traditional shoes… these are some of the Hall of Famers for comfortable flats for work:
