Adjacent to the pocket issue, my last two jobs have provided an ID badge on a clip that’s supposed to be worn on a belt loop. My pants have no belt loops, so I have a cold metal clip digging into my gut because it lies against my skin on the waistband. In the winter when I’m covered in giant sweaters, I get quizzed about badge compliance because it’s hidden. The entire concept is completely man-centric.

Can you wear it around your neck instead?
Ellen
Yes, when I worked for the subpeenie firm, we were REQUIRED to wear badges on us, and I did the same. That way, having it on a lanyeard made me look more official when I effected service on a defendent. You should try it. It beats getting metal digging into your stomach. FOOEY!

RBG, get well quick! I love Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and we in the HIVE should do EVERYTHING you can do to support her in the Supreme Court b/c the POTUS is looking to nominate new people to lean toward Kavanuagh (conservative). She is a role model for ALL of us in the HIVE, as she supports professionalism with women. They have the new movie “On the Basis of Sex” staring Felicity Jones as a young Ginsburg. She is great, and I think they should also have Rashida Jones play a role, b/c she is very pretty also. The Director of the movie, Mimi Leder described the movie as the “origin story” of justice RBG, who became a hero among U.S. liberals.
So let’s all go out and support RBG today!!!!! YAY!!!!!!
