I find bootcut jeans in a dark wash to be the most useful pants for a casual but authoritative office look. To be sure, jeans are personal, like kissing. Everyone’s got a different take. My favorite bootcuts had always been 7 for Mankind, but recently I tried on a pair of AG Jeans and liked what I felt. They’re soft. Forgiving. These “Angelinas” do have a little whiskering — your office mileage may vary for distressed denim tolerance — but the petite version is a nice option to avoid hemming. AG also makes a great skinny — you can go for a high waist if you dare.
I think I would. All three are available at Nordstrom for $175 and up. “Angelina” Slim Bootcut Jeans, Media (Petite); “Angelina” Bootcut Jeans, Crest Blue (Petite); “Farrah” High Rise Skinny Jeans (Raven)
