Wow — there are some mighty colorful suits out there right now. (For all the women who enjoy wearing suits on their resort vacation, perhaps?) Anyway: there seems to be a lack of fun, interesting suits, but this is one we haven't seen before: Italian topstitched twill suit, from Bebe. We like the piping and fringe around the collar, and the ruffled pleating at the back of the jacket. The jacket is $179, the wide-legged pants are $129, skirt is $109, and the bustier vest is $119. (We'd suggest wearing a shirt beneath it unless you happen to work in a nightclub.) Should you need them, matching short-shorts are also available for $89.

I don’t know; does anyone else think it kind of has an Artful Dodger from Oliver Twist look?
Wow, some of those suits are… right, very colorful. I would absolutely wear the navy/white/green one from Nordstrom though (but not to court)! The suit top looks more like a sweater, anyway.
That’s it! I’ve finally figured it out! Short shorts must be the one thing that been inexplicably missing from my suit wardrobe…
Eh… it is billed as “sexy fit” and the pants are even too long for a model in heels? I’ll stick to stores that don’t have tube tops in the window, thanks.
J – I’m with you on the St. John colorblock – love it!
Oh my gosh. The bustier vest and short shorts are exactly what I need to freshen up my dated suits. Hilarious. Not really a fan of the St John’s color block, but I am sort of inexplicably drawn to the Neiman’s purple tweed number.
Would anyone wear the bustier vest to work (with a white oxford let’s say)? My firm is pretty relaxed on clothing if you’re not meeting with clients/going to court but I think I’d get some comments on that. Just wondering if my fear is perhaps misplaced.
