Bargain Friday’s TPS Report – Laura Clement Leather Round-Toe Heels

Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices. We begin the week in splurge mode, with our most expensive suggestions, and wind our way to Friday, where a less expensive item of clothing might be just what you need to make it to the weekend.
La Redoute is having an amazing sale right now, and these classic leather heels are the icing on the cake, in our eyes. Originally marked at $75, they're now $12.99 — and they have a ton of sizes left, too. We love the “petite perforations” on the rounded toe. LAURA CLÉMENT Leather Round-toe Heels
As of 2025, these are our latest favorite strappy heels for work — also check the brands J.Crew, Valentino, and Jennifer Chamandi for strappy pumps. If you’re looking for strappy commuting shoes with heels to maintain a hem length, we recommend Dansko, Eileen Fisher, or FLY London.

really? they are so…*yawn*…not chic. and boring.
you think? seems to me like menswear detailing like the wingtip perforations are huge right now.
I totally agree about menswear detailing, but I think they need a little more…something.
These shoes would be great, for example, if they had a pointy toe and a narrower heel. Or, going the other way, if they had a stacked heel or a bit of a platform. The “soda58” from JustCavalli, for example, may be a little extreme for work (not to mention 10x the price!) but are super cute.
I externed for a judge (granted in LA) who was famous for her fabulous footwear – my faves were a pair of purple and green pradas. She still looked completely professional (with or without the robe).
Basically, to come back to the point, to me, these say “Ann Taylor”, not “Nanette Lepore.”
