Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices. iconiconWell, this is something you don't see every day — a perfectly shaped skirt that is both flirty and classic at the same time. We're loving the sculpted shape, and the fact that it's washable. We'd wear it with the highest heels we could passably walk in, and a fitted top with clean lines. It's available for pre-order at Nordstrom's for $125. 1. Newassociate: I completely see your point about the elasticized waist, and would normally agree. But this is such a beautiful skirt, it looks like it would move so nicely when you walked. The only issue would be that you couldn’t wear it with a tucked-in top. Wear it with a light-weight sweater with a hem that sat on your hips, no one would know.

  2. Love it. Though I’d probably wear it with a top that’s slightly longer than what the model in the photo is wearing. The clean, long line is really pretty, but I suspect best suited to size 6 and under :)

  3. Dare I say this one seems a bit expensive to me? I have had a few skirts that were rayon/spandex blend like this and probably spent no more than $50 on them. They did hold up very well after I put them in the washer and hung them up to dry, but I probably wouldn’t feel as comfortable doing that with a $125 skirt.

  4. @Mel–according to the website, it is hand washable so you should definitely be okay washing it in the washing machine as long as you use a mesh bag and the delicate cycle. I also recommend detergent from The Laundress. It’s a little pricey (and difficult to find in stores; I buy it online) but I can now wash all of my dry clean only clothes in the washing machine so it saves me a lot of money in the long run.

  5. After seeing this skirt here, I couldn’t resist ordering it. I love good, neutral basics. When it arrived, though I was disappointed in how thin the fabric was. It’s very “slip-like.” I would not have felt comfortable actually wearing this to work, though it would be fine for going out. Considering the price tag, I’d like it to be more wearable than that, so I shipped it back today.
