For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional.
Oooh! I love this burgundy birdseye suit from Ann Taylor, which comes in regular and petite sizes 00-18. The collarless peplum blazer feels very polished and sophisticated, and I like that the sheath dress is classic. (It only comes with ankle pants, not trousers, but at least they’re available in the regular and curvy fits.) The suiting set is priced $109-$189 (full price), and they are all online exclusives.
Tech Update: First, re the redesign — I think we’re nearing an end to making edits to the comments — font size has been reduced, white space has been reduced, time stamp is now navy, and there’s gray shading for the commenter name. How are we feeling about the edits? Second, re the moderation queue — sadly, the thing that I thought would make moderation less painful (holding your email address so it can be automatically approved) apparently will NOT make it less painful unless I *require* everyone to enter a username and email, which is less than ideal. Thank you for your patience while we reevaluate.
