Re: the Lifehacker article, sorry, but there is no way that I’m taking long-term relationship advice from someone who (a) announces “rules” to his spouse and (b) is a newlywed — it says the commenter married last August!

That pattern is far too common online — marriage advice from newlyweds and child-rearing advice from people with their first baby.
