Coffee Break – Patent & Hair Calf Ballet Pumps

Stuart Weitzman Patent & Hair Calf Ballet PumpsReader A wrote in to recommend these cute pumps, which she swears are the most comfortable pair of shoes she has ever purchased. “Yes, pricey…but given that they go with black, tan, and many solids, quite worth it. They have padded insoles too. Super comfy (and have converted me from Ferragamo! The heel height is great for skirts and pants, and if you need to do a lot of walking. They also look super conservative & probably the only way I’d wear animal print to work. FWIW: I’m Ms Bigfoot (size 9-9.5), wide feet and with bunions. And they’re still comfy.” Love it! I think they’d look great with basic black or brown, and I might try them with a dark burgundy A-line skirt as well.  They’re $335 at Saks.  Stuart Weitzman Patent & Hair Calf Ballet Pumps

Coffee Break – Sunny Flamenco Round Bag

Stuart Weitzman - Sunny Flamenco Round (Blue) - Bags and LuggageZappos has a ton of cute Stuart Weitzman bags and shoes on sale, including this lovely blue bag. Now I’ll admit, I have a mild obsession with blue bags — I once had to put a moratorium on buying them because I had 3 different blue bags — but that’s only because they’re surprisingly versatile. I’d wear this with everything from an interview suit to jeans and a black t-shirt. Love the large tassel detail on the pocket, as well as the fact that it fits nicely under your arms but is still roomy enough for a small book or even an iPad. It was $595, currently marked to $327.25. Stuart Weitzman – Sunny Flamenco Round (Blue) – Bags and Luggage

Coffee Break – Perry Street Kendra East/West Tote

Cole Haan - Perry Street Kendra East/West Tote (Palomino Snake Print) - Bags and Luggage6pm has two reader favorites* on sale today: both Stuart Weitzman and Cole Haan are up to 70% off. For today’s coffee break, I’m liking this Cole Haan tote/briefcase — the bag looks nice and roomy, as well as organized, and for those of us who dislike the messenger look, the shoulder straps are the perfect length. It comes in black, a brown leather (“Woodbury”), and a snake print as well as a gorgeous, gorgeous white snake print (pictured) — it’s really distinctive and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like it. 6pm’s big sister, Zappos, seems to be offering the same prices today, which range from $226.80 to $256.80 (originally $378-$428). Coffee Break: Stuart Weitzman’s Daisy Pump

Stuart Weitzman Women's Daisy Pump,Roccia SerpentToday we’re loving this classic shoe from Stuart Weitzman.  The serpent print is a great “neutral” with some personality — it also comes in a gray “snake” print, a multi-colored “serpent” print (all of the prints for $285) and a red and a basic black leather (both on sale at Endless for ~$150.)  Zappos also has the shoe in a number of patent colors for $298 — beige, hot pink, navy, and red — as well as a black suede and some croc prints (for $315).  Lovely!  Pictured: Stuart Weitzman Women’s Daisy Pump,Roccia Serpent

Coffee Break: Stringalong Flats

Stuart Weitzman – Stringalong (Coal Degrade Patent) – Footwear6pm.com has one of the perennial reader favorites in today’s sale: Stuart Weitzman.* We’re liking this interesting pair of flats, which have a gradient effect.  They’re available in brown and red as well, and a fairly good number of sizes considering that they’re 50% off.  (Some prices are up to 85% off, but lucky sizes only). If you haven’t shopped 6pm.com before: it’s owned by Zappos, and gives you 30 days to return purchases (but you have to pay return shipping). Not bad for deep discounts on one-day only sale items. * Yes, yes, we know — this is our second featured pair of flats this week! We try not to that, but a) we really like ‘em, b) you guys really like SW, and c) we are sick and have been working around the clock on that pesky “real job” anyway. Cough, cough. Excuse us while our head explodes…

Coffee Break

Weitzman Swoon Platform PumpOur post on comfortable heels last week generated a number of votes for Stuart Weitzman and Ferragamo, so when we saw these lovely heels on sale (in numerous spots) we had to pass on the news. It’s a 3.5″ heel, but it looks to have a subtle platform, which should be easier for standing. Zappos has them in black patent and a fun electric blue patent (we’d wear with gray or navy bottoms, but otherwise keep for weekend fun) for $196, and Endless has them in a slew of colors (including the “cashew” suede, pictured) for anywhere from $163-$202.  (The shoes were originally $298.)   The cashew suede — a great indoor shoe — is on sale for $168, still available in sizes 6-10.
