   I’m a returning reader after a year hiatus (I was in grad school but will soon be returning to the working world, so I’m back!). I’m planning my wedding and thinking about getting my bridesmaids a Longchamp Le Pliage as my gift to them. Does anyone know if these ever go on sale and/or if they’ll be on sale during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? If not, I’ll get them now (wedding’s in September). Any other (better!) suggestions for a bridesmaid gift? Thanks, ladies!

     I don’t know if these ever go on sale for the Nordstrom Anniversary but you could wait until you get a Bloomingdales 20% off coupon (I seem to get them about once a month or so). Not sure when the Nordstrom F&F sale is. Or you could open a credit card with Bloomingdales/Nordstrom and get the % off from opening the account (not that I’m advocating opening a line of credit, just thinking outside the box of how to get a % off).

       Don’t know where you live, but you should see if there is a Longchamp outlet near you. I got a great deal on a pocketbook there.

     Check Loehmanns if there is one near you – the one in my area always seems to have various sizes and colors available.
