Piperlime

I am loving this blouse from Sabine, available at Piperlime. Love the relaxed vibe to it and the colors. For the office, I’d wear this with a high white camisole (because I am opposed to nude-for-you camisoles) and a blazer, tucked in.  In terms of accessories, almost any necklace would work — if I wanted to give it some gravitas I’d wear my pearls, and if I wanted to have more fun with it I might layer some more delicate pendant necklaces.  It was $89, but is now marked to $44.99. MZ Wallace Bea Womens Shoulder HandbagOoh: included in the Piperlime sale is this tweed version of the MZ Wallace shoulder bag. I’d call this bag a modern classic — I’ve seen it (and heard amazing things about it) for probably 5 years, and admired it on the subway many a time. I like the gray tweed with the leather accents, as well as the included “inner detachable market purse” — cute. It was $395, but is now marked to $236.99 at Piperlime. (P.S. While you’re there check out the sales at Piperlime’s sister sites, including Athleta — lots of great deals to be had.)

Tucker The Classic Mini DressHappy Easter to all!  Something on your mind?  Chat about it here.

Pictured:  Our weekend recommendation is this fun mini-dress.  Too short for work (for most) but we like the casual vibe to it, as well as the fun print.  We’d wear it out to brunch with friends, or shopping (perhaps paired with leggings or a pair of skinny jeans).  It’s $198 at Piperlime, where the pictured print is an exclusive.  Tucker The Classic Mini Dress

Linea Pelle Dylan Medium Tote
We’re liking this slouchy, cool tote from Linea Pelle today. We like it for its size (big enough for a pad of paper), as well as for the functionality — the pocket on the outside and the inside, the fact that you can wear it on your shoulder from any of the straps, the fun print on the inside.  Available in black, brown and the orangey “Zucca” for $415 at Piperlime.  Linea Pelle Dylan Medium Tote

7 For All Mankind Shrunken BlazerWe love a good shrunken blazer, and Piperlime has a ton of them in stock right now.  We like this gray one from 7 For All Mankind — we like the fit of it, the notched lapel, and the seaming in the back.  We’d wear it with just about anything, from a full skirt to a shift dress to a pair of trousers — and we feel like the gray is more conducive to a fun color palette than a black blazer would be, either using bold color or going for a sophisticated black-on-gray-on-white look. It’s $275 at Piperlime, in sizes XS-L.  7 For All Mankind Shrunken Blazer

Women's apparel: BCBGMAXAZRIA Carla Classic Slim Flare Trouser - BlackPiperlime is having a one-day sale — take 20% off any regular (not final) sale items.  We like these simple black trousers from BCBGMAXAZRIA which, amazingly, are still available in sizes 2-10.  We like the viscose/wool/spandex mix (the spandex can be so important for comfort, mais oui?) and the slight flare below the knee.  Formerly $196, now $144, with the price dropping to $116 with the code TREAT4ME (with free shipping both ways).   Women’s apparel: BCBGMAXAZRIA Carla Classic Slim Flare Trouser – Black
