Favorite Workwear Suggestions of 2016

Every weekday here at Corporette, I offer one suggestion for an item that I would wear to work. Sometimes readers love the item, and wow do you guys hate it sometimes. Sometimes *I* love it, sometimes it was just the best I could find given the restraints (for those who haven’t noticed, Monday and Tuesday tend to be pricier items, Wednesday is in the $100-$150 price range, Thursday is in the $50-$100 price range, and Friday is in the “under $50” range.)   2. I, Ellen Barshevsky, am making a new and VERY important resolution for 2017. I RESOLVE to be nice to everyone and to be gratful for everything that is close to me, and to do my best to find a guy interested in Marrying me for me, not for the fact that I am an attorney at law. It does NOT matter if he is duly admitted or NOT, and for all it matter’s, if I could find a guy to MARRY me, I would NOT even care if he said to me that I would NOT have to work any more. Yes, I would give up my job as a Partner in a boutique firm to take on married life, and I would do my very best to keep my new husband VERY happy, meaning that if he did not want me to shop for new clotheing,, I would NOT, and if he wanted for me to do something to improve the marrage, I would do that also. I want him to treat me as an equal and as a partner (a marrage partner, that is), and I would want him to like my freind’s like Myrna and Laurie. I resolve to do ALL of this if a guy marries me. YAY!!!!
