Irish Midori
What audible selections have you enjoyed recently? I have a little solo road trip coming up and some credits to burn.

For something somewhat but not totally fluffy but also not primarily centered on a love interest – Meet me at the Cupcake Cafe. It actually is fantastic writing and intertwines career dissatisfaction, bad parental relationships, grief, entrepreneurship, and romance in a really natural way. I was surprised at how much I loved it.

I just finished “The Bookshop on the Corner”. It’s not amazing, but entertaining on a road trip – a light romance novel.

This is a common rec, but I really liked the audiobooks for the Dublin Murder Squad (especially the Likeness).
Picks
Secret Diary of Hendrik Groen, Moment of Lift, Becoming, A Gentleman in Moscow, Pachinko, Prairie Fires, The World As It Is, Moloka’i, Fear, Call the Midwife, The Martian, and Paris for One are all books I’ve listened to and loved on audio. Top 3 there would be Hendrik Groen, The Martian, and Becoming. Lighter picks are The Martian, Call the Midwife, and Paris for One. Couldn’t stop listening were Gentleman in Moscow, Pachinko, Fear, Prairie Fires and Becoming.
